About Noah Motto

Noah Motto is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Daytona Beach, Florida. He specializes in public accounting for individuals, businesses, and government agencies. Noah’s determination and steadfast commitment to succeeding is without question. While obtaining his bachelor’s degree, he started an internship in the tax department at James Moore & Company. He knew immediately that this was the right career path for him. 

While working at this public accounting firm, he not only completed his MBA but also obtained his CPA license. As a CPA, Motto is attentive to details and adheres to strict professional standards to avoid mistakes. He is adamant about maintaining proper documentation and double-checking his calculations to identify potential financial issues that may adversely affect his client’s business solvency or financial situation. 

Noah is committed to continuing education and takes every opportunity to stay on top of changing tax regulations and accounting best practices. His goal is to always provide his clients with the best possible financial service and to ensure that his business clients remain tax-compliant.

EARLY LIFE

Noah Motto is a native of Ormond Beach, FL, a beach town community with many cultural and natural venues, including state and local parks, surfing, boating, and a host of cultural sites. He was actively involved in football and soccer at both the recreational and high school levels. Noah was noted for his athleticism on the Seabreeze High School varsity football team. Even more impressive was his commitment to volunteer work as a young man. He went on mission trips with Salty Church in Ormond Beach and traveled to help the local churches in Costa Rica.

Motto also started a GoFundMe drive called Kicking for Cancer, which raised over $1000, which he donated to the American Cancer Society. He went on to attend Florida International University (FIU) in Miami, FL., where he was a kicker on the school’s football team, performing well on this Division 1 collegiate team. He decided to move back to Ormond Beach to focus on a professional degree. While studying at FIU, Noah was on the Dean’s list and maintained a 3.4 GPA. 

EDUCATION

In 2018, Motto enrolled at the University of North Florida. He was a prodigious learner and focused on completing his degree in record time. He majored in business administration with a focus on accounting. While studying for his degree, he worked full-time at Discount Tire as a Sales Apprentice, scheduling appointments and providing friendly customer service for tire selection and vehicle maintenance services.

While completing his bachelor’s degree, Noah interned in the tax department at James Moore & Company. This positive experience convinced him to continue in financial accounting as an area of study. He not only completed his Bachelor of Business Administration degree, he did it with academic honors. He went on to acquire an MBA in Accounting, and he passed the CPA examination in just six months. In 2024, he became licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Florida.

CAREER

Noah Motto has consistently moved up through the ranks at James Moore & Company. He started as an Intern Tax Accountant before becoming a Staff Tax Accountant. Motto quickly proved his knowledge of tax regulations and business finances, and he was promoted to Senior Accountant in record time. In this role, he assisted clients with business start-up processes involving business structure, LLC filing, ownership structure, and tax considerations. Furthermore, he was instrumental in providing consultation services for mergers and acquisitions regarding tax consequences and business structure considerations.

Motto was again promoted and is currently a Tax Supervisor at James Moore & Co. He is responsible for delegating work to staff, quality control, and providing constructive feedback with employee evaluations. He manages seven employees and over 200 Real Estate and Manufacturing clients. He is tech-savvy and uses many fintech applications, including the CCH Suite and Engagement, for tax preparation, document retention, and client management. Noah is an expert at using Microsoft Suite to manipulate and analyze data and generate reports that are used to advise clients on operation efficiency and productivity. 

Motto takes pride in growing the company’s expanding consulting team and provides educational development for team members. He stays actively involved in many of the firm’s continuing education and training programs to keep abreast of changing tax laws and industry regulations. Personal Life

Living in a coastal community has been a source of adventure and activity for Noah since he was young. He simply enjoys being outdoors as much as possible, swimming, surfing, or sunning. He is also an avid dirt bike rider and loves traveling.
